Wouldn’t it be nice to see the world through your customer’s eyes?
Are you solving your customers problem?
At some point, you need to ask what problem you’re solving. (Whether that’s with your business, your nonprofit, your project, your committee.) What problem do you wish you solved? Is it a real problem? Does it matter to someone other than you?
A lot of people don’t ask themselves this question because it’s a bit intimidating. What if your answer isn’t good? It’s ok if you’re answer is weak because you would have realized that before getting started. Now, you may have made the biggest mistake in mobile marketing and answered this question too late in the game. If so, you’ll soon realize it’s much more painful when you find out too late. I’v done this and lost a lot of time when building my first SMS marketing platform.
Do yourself a favor when you go to execute your next mobile marketing initiative and ask yourself:
Am I solving my customers problem?
